Meredith Gantos, DDS

Dentistry is unique in that it combines healthcare with art and becomes more of a passion than a profession. Smiling is one of the most powerful tools we have to increase our self-image, build relationships with others and even enhance our goals. It is a privilege and incredibly rewarding to be entrusted with this responsibility to protect and restore confident, healthy smiles.” - Dr. Meredith Gantos

A science lover with an artistic soul, Dr. Gantos discovered her passion for dentistry at an early age. After an accident left her with half of a front tooth, she was both appreciative and fascinated with the mechanics behind rebuilding it. Her zeal for helping others was cemented during a mission trip to El Salvador as a young adult. Her time abroad reinforced how fortunate she was to pursue higher education and the absolute necessity to use her talents to help others. As a volunteer dental provider, Dr. Gantos has helped thousands of patients both internationally and domestically.

Dr. Gantos’ goals are to provide optimal oral healthcare in a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. She employs only the best methods, materials, and technologies and takes pride in building professional relationships centered on compassion and honesty with all of her patients.

A Naperville native, Dr. Gantos attended Neuqua Valley High School. She then attended Michigan State University where she received her Bachelors in Human Biology with High Honors. Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Gantos received her doctorate from The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry where she graduated at the top of her class.

Following dental school, Dr. Gantos continued to pursue her strong interest in esthetic and surgical dentistry through the country’s top residency program in San Antonio, Texas. During her advanced program, she was exposed to cutting-edge technologies and concepts from the best leaders in the field. Dr. Gantos has a strong passion for cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, periodontal surgery, and implantology. She takes great pride in utilizing these advanced skills to help patients achieve a beautiful, healthy, long-lasting smile. Her advanced training and special licensure in sedation dentistry ensure patient comfort and safety are always a top priority.

A lifelong learner and dental leader, Dr. Gantos is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Only about 6% of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada ever achieve this recognition. AGD Fellows are the best in the field, completing over 500 credit hours of continuing education and passing an exam of equal difficulty to the board certification exam.

During her free time, Dr. Gantos enjoys painting, photography, journaling, and yoga. When she’s not in the office, you might find her biking along the forest preserve or with her nose in a book at the local coffee shop.
